Memphis's historic homes often need repiping and sewer repair as early-1900s lines reach failure.

That is exactly the work Pipe Well Plumbing books in Memphis. Instead of selling you a lead that four other plumbers also bought, we market to homeowners in Memphis, Shelby County and the surrounding Midtown, East Memphis, Cooper-Young area, answer the calls, qualify the job and schedule the appointment. Then it goes to one plumber — you — by text message.

Questions from Tennessee plumbers

How much does it cost to join?

Nothing. No signup fee, no monthly subscription, no per-lead charge. Pipe Well is paid 50% of the job after materials — 50% of what's left after your documented material costs are deducted, and only after the customer has paid you. The formula is (amount collected from the customer − documented material cost) × 50% = Pipe Well's share, due within 48 hours of the customer paying you.

How is the 50% calculated?

Materials come off the top first, then the remainder is split down the middle. On a $400 drain clear with $40 in materials, the net is $360, Pipe Well's share is $180 and you keep $220. On a $1,200 water heater with $520 in materials, the net is $680, our share is $340 and you keep $860. On an $8,500 repipe with $3,200 in materials, the net is $5,300, our share is $2,650 and you keep $5,850 — your half plus every dollar of your documented materials back. Material costs must be documented with receipts or invoices uploaded with the job; undocumented materials are not deducted. Labor, overhead, truck, fuel and taxes are not deducted — those come out of your half.

Do I have to bid against other plumbers in Memphis?

No. We do not resell the same appointment. It is sent to you by SMS and it is yours if you reply YES. We also cap each service area at three plumbers.

What if the customer never pays?

Then nothing is owed. Our share is 50% of what you actually collect minus your documented materials — if you are not paid, we are not paid.

How far will you send me?

You set your own radius when you apply, with a 30-mile minimum. Appointments outside your radius are never sent to you.
